Woodland Stompers - May Performance Dance List | Hi Dancers, As a reminder, we have performances & an event this month: Wednesday, May 14th at 2 pm - Woodland Skilled Nursing, 2nd floor rec room, 3rd & Cross Streets - wear a cowboy hat, if you have one . Thursday, May 15th at 10 am - Alderson Convalescent (The Grove), 124 Walnut Street Thursday, May 22nd - 9 am to 12 pm - Senior Resource Fair, Woodland Community Center gymnasium (no dance performance- we're manning an information table.) Wednesday, May 28th - 10:30 am - California Retired Teacher's Association, 1280 Santa Anita Drive, #100, Woodland CA, (North on East Street to the North side of town, turn Right on Churchill Downs Ave, then Left on Santa Anita Drive.) They're treating us to lunch. We'll wear our Turquoise shirt & Black Pants or Skirt for all events . Loaner shirts are available. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early Our performance dance list: Cupid Shuffle - Codigo Elvira Eye Candy - What Was I Thinking Lil Yeller Blanket Alley Cat - Don't Fence Me In Dancin' In the Country Down Home - I'm From the Country Carolina Bus Stop - Kiss This What Makes You Country - American Saturday Night We won't have our usual practice on Monday, May 26th due to the Memorial Day Holiday. --Roberta Roberta Peeples |

Wdld Stompers - May Performances Updates | Hi Stompers, Here is our busy May performance list. Please make a note on your calendars of the dates. We'll wear our Turquoise Shirt & Black Pants or Skirt for all performances. (We have loaner shirts): Wednesday, May 14th - 2pm at Woodland Skilled Nursing , 2nd floor Rec. Room, 3rd & Cross Streets It will be National Nursing Home Week and the theme on Wednesday will be Western. Why not wear a cowboy hat, if you have one? Thursday, May 15th - 10 am at Aldersons (The Grove) , 124 Walnut Avenue Thursday, May 22nd - 9 am to 12 noon - Senior Resource Fair, Woodland Community Center Gymnasium. Lots of interesting resources & give aways. We won't be performing, but wear your Stompers shirt as it's good advertising. We'll be manning a table with hand- outs, so let me know if you can man the table for an hour or so to help out. Wednesday, May 28th - 10:30 am at the California Retired Teachers Association quarterly luncheon. Don't worry, the dances will all be ones we've been performing. I'd like to have a good turnout, so let me know if you'll be able to attend. Also let me know if you'll be able to stay for lunch as they'd like to feed us. We may do Cupid Shuffle & see if we can get some of them to join us, which is always fun! That's it for our busy May..... --Roberta
